Incident: Emirates A388 at Dubai on Jul 1st 2015, could not fully retract landing gear
An Emirates Airlines Airbus A380-800, registration A6-EEK performing flight EK-45 from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to Frankfurt/Main (Germany), was climbing out of Dubai's runway 12R when the crew stopped the climb at FL160 reporting problems with the landing gear, entered a hold and returned to Dubai for a safe landing 100 minutes after departure
A replacement Boeing 777-300 registration A6-ENR reached Frankfurt with a delay of 6 hours
A passenger reported there were bumping noises while the gear was retracting, the crew announced the landing gear did not retract. The aircraft dumped fuel for close to two hours and returned to Dubai
