السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاتة انا مش هقول انها احسن اكاديمية ولا انها اقوى الاكاديمية لاني مجربتهاش بس انا بوصل الصورة الي وصلتني Excellence in Aviation Training Professional Pilot Program CENTURY AIR · CENTURY FLIGHT ACADEMY FAA PART 141 APPROVED FLIGHT AND SIMULATOR TRAINING 19 Wright Way · Essex County Airport · Fairfield, N.J. 07004 · (973) 575-4800 www.centuryair.com · [email protected] Dear Fellow Pilot, Century Air is a unique flight training center offering the discriminating consumer the most professional flight training programs available in general aviation. We are an FAA Approved Part 141 school offering private pilot training through advanced career training, jet transition and ATP (airline transport pilot). Century is approved for Veterans training by the Department of Education, as well as international student training and Workforce Development programs for the state of New Jersey. As President of Century Air, my background of over 50 years in aviation includes thousands of hours of flight experience. I am an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner, retired American Airline Captain and FAAsTeam Representative (Promoting safety through education). When I began learning to fly, there was an obvious deficiency in general aviation flight training. Although learning to fly should be an educational experience, there were few flight schools that treated it as such. For this purpose, in 1975 I founded Century Air, and have over the years built the school into the educational facility and professional environment that flight training should be. The philosophy of my organization is one of quality training as well as quality service, something that is rarely found in general aviation even to this day. "Quality from the ground up" is what it's all about. At Century Air we offer a superior standard of aircraft maintenance and all of our training programs are structured, organized, and proven effective. As a student of Century, you will develop into a safe, confident and proficient pilot whether flying is for recreation or for a future career. With the use of computerized interactive training, one-on-one instruction, modern simulator training and an atmosphere conducive to learning, you will maximize your time in the air and on the ground. Once you have made the decision to learn to fly, it is important that you see where and know how your investment will be spent. For this reason we provide individual consultations for every student to formally introduce them to our training programs and facility. You will be educated about all aspects of learning to fly before making a commitment. Our orientation process is just one of the many things that are unique to the way Century operates. For this and many other reasons, we have an extremely high success rate for pilots achieving their goals, and also why we are able to offer you “ excellence in aviation training.” We look forward to meeting you. Richard A. Greene President, CEO Designated FAA Pilot Examiner, Teterboro, NJ District American Airlines Captain, Retired ATP Airplane SEL& MEL, A-310, B-727, CE-500, Convair 240, 340, 440, DC-3, Lear Jet, Martin 202/404, Commercial Airplane SES & MES, Rotorcraft, Helicopter and Gyroplane, Glider, Lighter-than-Air Free Balloon Thank you for your interest in Century Air for your flight training. All students must attend a consultation prior to course enrollment. Consultations may be scheduled between the hours of 9AM-7PM seven days per week. International students and out-of-state students may complete an initial enrollment before scheduling a consultation by filling out a Pilot Information Form (enclosed). This form must be returned via facsimile for processing to (973) 575-4488 or by email to [email protected] Federal Regulations require that all flight training applicants present proof of U.S. Citizenship for enrollment in a flight training program. Proof of Citizenship may be established by presentation of U.S. Passport or original birth certificate and government issue picture identification. Non-U.S. citizens will be required to register with the TSA at www.flightschoolcandidates.gov and follow the guidelines to obtain approval prior to enrollment in a flight training course. Students requiring a VISA to enter the US for training must complete an I-20 SEVIS application and submit to Century Air with a $150 processing fee (application enclosed). Students must also schedule a telephone consultation and interview prior to being approved for an I-20. To schedule a consultation, contact Century Air, by phone or e-mail. Flight Training Center 19 Wright Way Fairfield, NJ 07004 Simulator and Aviation Training Centers First Class Facilities for Flight Training, Simulator Training, and Insurance Company Approved Recurrent and Initial Aircraft Training P (973) 575 4800 [email protected] Simulator Training Center 6 Kingsbridge Rd. Fairfield, NJ 07004 There are two types of flight training schools, Part 61 and Part 141, which refers to the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR's) under which they operate. The most common and least important distinction between them is the minimum flight time required for the private certificate - 40 hours under Part 61 and 35 hours under Part 141. Considering that the national average for earning a private certificate is 60 to 75 hours (how long you'll take will depend on your ability and flying frequency), this difference is minimal. It does, however; make a big difference to commercial pilot applicants: Part 61 requires 250 hours and Part 141 requires 190. What differentiates the two is structure and accountability. Part 141 schools, which are periodically audited by the FAA, must have detailed, FAA-approved course outlines and meet student performance rates. They must also meet and maintain other operational requirements. These include a qualified chief flight instructor who's subject to FAA review, FAA-approved stage check pilots, a qualified aircraft dispatcher, detailed ground training with approved testing procedures, appropriate training facilities, records, equipment, and maintenance services. Part 141 schools follow their curricula to the letter, teach certain skills in a given order, use senior instructors to check progress at specific intervals and keep detailed records of each students progress. This has its benefits for both full and part time students. The training quality is known, and if you seek additional training, or return from a break in training, these records will allow you to pick up where you left off with minimal delay. Part 61 schools, which are not subject to the same FAA scrutiny given to Part 141 schools, have the flexibility to rearrange lesson content and sequence, which may not be of benefit to the student. When you're looking for a flight training facility, Part 141 schools are your best choice. And even though it's an approved school, that doesn't mean it can't also train students under Part 61. Many do, thus letting them enjoy the approved structure and accountability of the school under the more flexible regulation. Airport provides flight training programs for the Private Pilot through Jet training and Airline Transport Pilots. Whether you're interested in a career as an airline pilot or fulfilling a lifelong dream of learning to fly, Century Flight Academy is fully capable of meeting your needs. Richard Greene, owner, is an airline captain and has over 40 years of experience in aviation. The facility is the only one in the area owned and operated by an airline pilot, and Mr. Greene's experience truly shows in his professional approach to general aviation training. Upon entering the flight school, you will be greeted by a courteous and efficient staff, any of whom seem very willing to answer any questions you may have. Mr. Greene will speak with each pilot applicant individually, to find out your specific goals and create the training program necessary to meet your particular needs. The facility is quiet, utilizes an audio/visual library accompanied by modern video equipment and individual training booths for viewing and studying. With the use of a state-of-the-art color visual simulator, students (such as instrument and multi-engine pilots) are able to accomplish much of their training at a reduced expense and without ever leaving the ground. The facility also has many classrooms conducive to learning, and the school offers one-on-one instruction for each individual. A compliment of well maintained aircraft, experienced instructors and a professional airline oriented atmosphere enables students to complete ratings in less time than many other programs. Century Flight Academy is an organization that is dedicated to flight training and only flight training. It is apparent that there is a major difference between Century and other flight schools. Prospective applicants are invited to the training center 7 days a week to see the flight school and become educated about what is involved in learning to fly and enrolling in a flight training program. If you are interested in learning to fly, you must make a point to visit Century Air.
